V.V. Nair – Founder & Managing Director
A Mechanical Engineer having more than 5 decades experience in this field and who has worked with Vijay Tanks before setting up Sharp Tanks & Structural’s in 1987.
Mr. Nair underwent training at Graver Tanks and Manufacturing Co., Chicago (USA) and acquired thorough knowledge in construction of Cryogenic storage tanks, Spheres, large floating Roof Tanks and operation of automatic girth welding machine.
He has successfully led the teams on several projects in India and overseas in construction of Cryogenic Refrigerated tanks, Horton Spheres for LPG, Propane Storage tanks (Cone roof and Floating roof) for petrochemical products.
K.V. Subramanian – Executive Director (Projects)
A Mechanical Engineer having 46 years experience of handling projects across geographies – Kuwait, Oman, Uzbekistan and UAE, besides India, while serving companies such as Vijay Tanks and UHDE India prior to joining Sharp Tanks.
His experience spans across design, tendering, construction and project coordination– he has experience in designing process equipments, heat exchangers, storage tanks/bullets and spheres and has lead teams for executing projects (piping, tankers, steel structures) across geographies.
Balagopal V – General Manager (Projects)
A Mechanical Engineer having 35 years experience of handling projects in India & UAE.
His experience in Construction and Project coordination– Manufacturing of Process equipments, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns and has lead teams for executing projects like Construction of Storage tanks, Mounded storage vessels, Horton Spheres, Piping and structural work
He is a part of Team Sharp for over 10 years and heads the Projects.
D Kandaswami – General Manager (Works & Projects)
A Mechanical Engineer having more than 20 years experience of handling projects in IndiaHis experience in Construction and Project coordination,Manufacturing of Process equipments, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, columns and has lead teams for executing projects like Construction of Storage tanks, Mounded storage vessels, Horton Spheres, Piping and structural work
